At Puresthetics Skin Care Studio, we have set out to bring you an environment where the highest levels of skin and body care are provided to nurture the well-being of mind, body, and spirit. Infusing Western modalities with knowledge of Eastern healing well-being, Puresthetics Skin Care Studio can tailor each treatment to any individual’s needs.
It is our goal to make a difference in the lives we touch by offering the highest level of service by trained professionals in the most relaxing environment for our clients.
Reservations:
To ensure that you obtain your desired appointments, we recommend scheduling your appointment as far in advance as possible to ensure availability. To accommodate your desired date, we require a credit card at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation. We keep this information as part of our cancellation policies and only make necessary charges to your account on the date of your scheduled service. We provide the details of our cancellation policy below.
Cancellation Policies and Fees:
Your spa treatments are reserved especially for you. We value your business and ask that you respect the spa’s scheduling policies. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance.
- All appointments need to be scheduled online. You can do this at www.puresthetics.com
- There needs to be a credit card held on file in all accounts
- There is a 24-hour cancellation policy
- If you do not reschedule within this time frame (24 hours), you will be charged 50% of your appointment. You can reschedule by clicking on the links available in the confirmation/reminder emails.
- We recognize the time of our clients and staff is valuable, and have implemented this policy for this reason. When you miss an appointment with us, we lose not only your business but also the potential business of other clients who could have scheduled an appointment for the same time.
When you schedule your appointment with us, you agree to these policies. All services require a credit card or gift certificate to guarantee a reservation so, please have your credit card and gift certificate ready when booking. We will not be billing you unless there is a cancellation or no-show. Upon checkout, guests may choose their method of payment.
Acne Bootcamp Clients:
This program was created to garner you the absolute best results for your skin. Acne takes time and extreme consistency if we are to heal your skin and clear your acne. The clients who see the absolute best results in their skin are the ones who stay on schedule with their follow-up facials (every 2 weeks) and use their home care regimens exactly as prescribed. We need to follow up every 2 weeks until we get the inflammation under control. Once that is achieved, we can space the facials out a bit more to 3 weeks, and then regular facial maintenance of 1x a month. This process can take 3-6 months or more depending on your specific acne type.
If appointments are not kept on this 2-week follow-up schedule, there is much more extraction and work to be done. Delays will mean that we are falling behind in progress and will not get the results we are looking for in the desired time frame.
I will allow you to reschedule 1x if you are not able to meet for your 2-week follow-up, but if you need to reschedule multiple times and I have not seen you in 4 weeks, you will need to reschedule for a full Acne Clarifying Treatment Facial.
This is because we will need extra time, and we will almost need to start over with the progress we were making.
My passion is truly to help you clear your skin and it is my professional opinion and experience that this is the best process to get there. Let’s continue to work together to reach these goals.
Cell Phones:
We kindly ask that you turn your cell phones and pagers to vibrate upon arrival and remember to speak in your very soft spa voice once you enter the studio. Please inform your therapist should you need to make a phone call so that you may do so without disturbing other guests. Cell phone use may affect the length of your spa services.
Prices and Services:
Prices and services are subject to change without notice. We will do our best to keep our clients up to date on any changes that may occur, but we encourage all clients to inquire about pricing and available services when booking their appointments.
Gift Certificate Policy:
Gift Certificates are available in any amount. You can shoot us a text, and we will send the link for you to purchase to have your gift certificate emailed to you or whomever you like.
Unfortunately, we are unable to process any returns or reimburse any payment transactions on gift certificates, even if they are lost, misplaced, or stolen. You must keep track of your gift card confirmation email, where you will receive a number for redemption. You may not redeem Gift Certificates for cash. Please mention the Gift Certificates when making your appointment.
Series of Treatments:
Once you purchase any spa treatment series, we are unable to process any returns or reimburse any payment transaction. We will, however, exchange them for other products or spa credits of equal value.
Gratuity:
We do not add gratuity to the price of service or spa packages. Customary tipping runs 15% to 20% but is, of course, at your discretion. You may tip the therapist in the room or upon check-out at the front desk with cash, check, or credit card.
Check-in:
We ask that you please arrive 10-15 minutes before your appointment time. We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals. However, the length of service may be adjusted so as not to interrupt the scheduled appointments of other guests. The full price of scheduled services will apply, so please plan accordingly.
Personal Belongings:
Please leave all jewelry and valuable items at home. Puresthetics Skin Care Studio is not responsible for lost or misplaced items.
Spa Promotions:
You may not use Spa specials in combination with any other offer, promotions, or third-party gift certificates.
Return Policy:
It is our mission to provide you with the highest quality of skin and body care products with your services. In fact, you may like these products so much that you wish to use them every day in your home! In the event you purchase any of our spa products for home use and find them to be defective, we will exchange any products within 14 days of purchase with a receipt. Unfortunately, we cannot offer cash refunds for returned products. Instead, we will provide a spa credit for any returned products to be used for any other goods and spa services available here at Puresthetics Skin Care Studio.

Health Savings Accounts (HSAs)
We accept HSA payment methods! A Health Savings Account (HSA) is a type of personal savings account that allows you to set aside pre-tax money to pay for qualified medical expenses. You can withdraw money from an HSA tax-free as long as you use it for qualified medical expenses, such as deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, doctor’s visits, preventive care, physical therapy, lab tests, medical equipment, addiction treatment, prescription drugs, hospital services, most dental care, and most vision care.
Walk-Ins
At this time, we do not accept walk-ins; all sessions are by appointment only, and appointments are made on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Please give 24 hours for cancellation. If the appointment is canceled or there is a no-show, you will be charged 50% of your total.

How To Prepare For Your Brazilian Waxing
BRAZILIAN AND CALIFORNIA MAINTENANCE = RETURNING EVERY 4-6 WEEKS Most importantly, before any bikini waxing, shower please!! Appointments after the gym or work are very unpleasant for your technician. If you are not able to shower, wipes come in very handy.
For the best wax experience possible, the hair must be at least 1/4 – 1/2 inches or 12-15 days growth. This is especially important for first-time waxers who have been shaving to ensure all the hair grows out from under the surface. It is a good idea to get into the habit of exfoliating the bikini area with a salt or sugar scrub to get rid of a lot of dead skin cells that build up on the surface. This will also help keep ingrown hairs at bay.
Try to remain calm and relaxed. Anxiety about the waxing can definitely contribute to it being more painful. Advil or Motrin can help take the “edge” off. Keep in mind that the results will definitely outweigh the process. Please remember to arrive at your appointment clean. Sanitation is a top priority here at Puresthetics.
Waxing Services For Men
We offer Brazilian waxing for men. This is a “professional” service. If at any time the technician feels uncomfortable or that you are not taking the service seriously, we will have to ask you to leave. Unfortunately there have been a few issues in the past that have not fallen in line with how Puresthetics operates.
After Care
After waxing with our exclusive wax formula, you shouldn’t have much discomfort at all. A little redness is absolutely normal and usually goes away within an hour or so. For those who are prone to ingrown hairs or get them from time to time, we recommend PFB. PFB is an excellent combination of 3 active ingredients, formulated to reduce any swelling, kill bacteria, and exfoliate at the same time. PFB is available in the studio.
